World Mission Evangelism Ministries (WME Church of God) is an indigenous Christian faith ministry in India originally known as the Independent Church of God. It stands as a prominent full-gospel church organization in the mainstream of India’s historical Pentecostal Christianity. It stands to provide for Christian fellowship of the saints of God and to assume the share of responsibility and privilege of propagating the gospel of Jesus Christ by all available means. The late Pastor C.S.Mathew, a renowned Bible preacher, theologian, hymn writer, revivalist and pioneer apostle of the Indian church was instrumental in founding the ministry in 1947 in the state of Kerala. C. S. Mathew and his wife Aleyamma have passed through unimaginable tests of faith in life. They were blessed with 11 children, but 8 of them died while young. It was a test something equal to that of Job’s. The Almighty had something great in store for His elect. The small ministry he birthed in Kerala began to grow and spread across the nation. God also used him to write 300 revival songs in Malayalam, many of which are hits in Christian world. Pastor Mathews and Aleyamma finished their race and went to be with the Lord in 1985.
Formed in the midst of the sweeping Pentecostal revival in India during the former half of the 20th century, WME started to grow to different states of India. Kariamplave, the small village where the ministry was originated, emerged as the central location to control the ministry nationwide. The focal event of the vibrant revival and church growth was the annual general convention known as The KARIAMPLAVE CONVENTION, which grew into one of the largest Christian conventions in India that catapulted Pentecostalism before a worldwide audience.
WME Ministries is committed to reaching India for Christ through its multi-faceted ministry of church planting, children ministry, Bible training, charity ministry, missionary sending, literature ministry, music ministry, and varied other mercy ministries. Our missionaries work in the most difficult and unreached regions. They preach the gospel and work tirelessly to plunder hell to populate heaven. The evangelization of the indigenous people is difficult as well as expensive. We have to transform them, protect them and provide their basic needs to sustain them in faith. “To make disciples of all nations” and ethnic groups is our Lord’s mandate.

Our President
Pastor.O.M.Rajukutty took over as the President of the WME Ministries following the home going of Rev.C.S.Mathews. He has earned his M.A. in English literature from the University of Kerala, India, and did his theological education in Delhi and Kerala. He was ordained as a pastor on 25th January 1981. He served on the National Executive from 1979 thru 1985 and as the Overseer from 1985 thru 2004. He is currently the General President / Chairman of W.M.E Ministries. He is an International Bible preacher, professor of Biblical eschatology, Bible school principal, Radio-TV speaker, hymn writer, and the General Secretary for Pentecostal Inter Church Council. His vision is to blossom WME into an international ministry. His wife Susan is also a well-known preacher, woman leader and hymn writer.
We believe there is one God, creator and Lord of the universe, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Bible consisting of sixty-six books comprised in the Old and New Testaments is the inspired Word of God to man and is the infallible rule of faith and conduct. The Holy Scripture in its entirety constitutes the revelation of God’s truth to humanity. It is wholly true and trustworthy Word of God
We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ , His virgin birth, His sinless life, His vicarious sufferings, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His glorious ascension, His abiding intercession, His imminent personal return to translate the saints alive and those who sleep in Christ which is the blessed hope of the church, His millennial reign on earth, His White Throne Judgment, His promise of the New Heavens and New Earth, and the gathering together of all things one in Christ both which are in heaven, and which are on earth, even in Him; and in all this God will be glorified forever.
We believe man was created upright in God’s own image but fell by voluntary transgression and his only hope of redemption and salvation is by repentance and confession of faith in Jesus Christ the Son of God and regeneration by the Holy Spirit. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling presence the Christian is enabled to live a sanctified life of righteousness and holiness which is the outward evidence of an inward grace.
We believe in the resurrection of the saved unto eternal life and finally the impenitent unto eternal judgment.
We believe in adult water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Spirit by which a believer identifies himself with Christ in His death and resurrection.
We believe in the Lord’s Supper, the assembly of believers on the first day of the week according to apostolic practice, and divine healing as a provision of the atonement.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial signs of speaking in tongues and spiritual gifts following.
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and that the Church is the living Body of Christ and the habitation of God by the Spirit with divine appointment for the fulfillment of the Great Commission such that the ministry of evangelism is the responsibility of both the church and each and every Christian.
We believe there is one holy, universal and apostolic church, which is the Body of Christ to which all true believers belong.
